Here at Classic Travel and Tours, we can help provide you with everything you need for your trip. Below you can find your flight and payment options. If you prefer to have a custom flight plan, we can do that for you too!
Before booking your flight, be sure you have ALREADY MADE YOUR PROGRAM DEPOSIT DIRECTLY TO DUQUESNE and have been approved and accepted by the Center for Global Engagement. Approvals happen after posted application deadlines. The deadline for Fall 2025 is March 15th, 2025. If you purchase a flight before acceptance and you are not approved to study abroad, you will be responsible for any cancelation fees associated with your ticket cost from the airline. ALL AIRLINE TICKET PURCHASES ARE NON-REFUNDable.
SOME INFORMATION TO NOTE
If you pick a custom flight package, after submitting your reservation, we will contact you directly to plan your trip. Your total flight charge will reflect any deviation. Any incremental amount is typically USD $100 and up. Classic Travel and Tours will advise you of this extra charge depending your departure/arrival city. (i.e. Los Angeles will be typically a larger incremental fee than Chicago, etc.). Please indicate your deviated flight requirements.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Keep in mind when making custom flight arrangements that Italy and 25 other countries within the European Union that are signatories to the Schengen Treaty do not permit you to arrive within any of their collective borders prior to or stay beyond your academic program start/end dates. All other member states of the European Union also enforce this 89-day rule. Therefore, you should not plan to arrive in Italy or any other Schengen country or European Union member state before August 29, 2025 or to stay anywhere in the European Union beyond November 25, 2025 for vacation/tourism or for any other reason. See “Warning: Length-of-Stay Regulations” in your packet provided by Duquesne University.
Please submit your form in a timely manner since there is a limited number of seats reserved for each city of departure at the price listed! If you are choosing one of the group flight options, please reserve your flight no later than Friday, May 9, 2025.
